About IMV

IMV Technologies began in France in 1963, founded by veterinarian Robert Cassou following his work establishing the country’s first cattle artificial insemination and embryo-transfer centre in 1946. Over the decades, IMV pioneered innovations that shaped modern reproduction, most famously the “French straw,” which transformed how semen is processed, stored and used worldwide. In 2017, IMV acquired UK manufacturer BCF Technology, makers of Easi-Scan and Ovi-Scan, integrating veterinary imaging more deeply into the group. Today, the IMV Technologies Group operates globally, with subsidiaries and manufacturing across multiple regions and solutions used in 160+ countries.

Kylie brings over a decade of hands-on reproductive experience to IMV in Australia. An AI technician and agricultural business owner, she’s worked at the coalface here and overseas, including time in the United States as a breeding consultant, farm owner–operator, and project manager with Hart Agriculture. That practical background, paired with deep technical knowledge, means Kylie can translate IMV’s global innovation into real-world gains for both vets and farmers. She leads demos, helps specify the right set-ups for each species and workflow, and coordinates training, servicing, and ongoing supply through Reproductive Australia

Rachael Archer

reproductive Australia TECHNICAL Representative

Rachael in her role as Technical Representative for Reproductive Australia, brings a practical, hands-on background and strong communication skills to the team. With experience as a professional athlete and years spent racing and maintaining her own bikes, Rachael has developed excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills that translate well to technical equipment and field support.

Raised around the agriculture industry with experience in sheep and beef farming, and as owner of her own farm Rachael understands the realities of working with livestock and rural businesses. Her practical knowledge, approachable nature, and ability to connect with people make her well suited to supporting veterinarians and producers across Australia.

Adrian Verplaetse

POINT OF CONTACT BETWEEN IMV TECHNOLOGIES AND REPRODUCTIVE AUSTRALIA

Adrian Verplaetse is the Distribution Channel Manager for the APAC Zone at IMV Technologies. Based in Centelles, Catalonia, Spain, Adrian works remotely across the Asia-Pacific region, supporting distribution partners and strengthening relationships between IMV Technologies and its regional collaborators.

In his current role, Adrian focuses on developing and managing distributor networks, supporting partners with product knowledge and market strategy, and helping expand the reach of IMV’s animal reproduction technologies across APAC markets. He plays a key role in ensuring distributors and veterinary partners have the tools, training, and support needed to successfully implement IMV solutions in the field.

Adrian brings an international background in sales development, channel management, and market expansion, having previously worked in commercial development and sales roles across Europe before joining IMV Technologies in 2024. His work often involves collaborating with veterinary professionals, distributors, and research partners to introduce innovative reproductive technologies and support best practices in animal reproduction.

Through his position with IMV Technologies, Adrian will act as a primary point of contact between Reproductive Australia and IMV Technologies, helping coordinate communication, distributor support, product training, and strategic initiatives across the region.
